Spam Filters in Shared Hosting
Our shared hosting servers use one of the very best anti-spam filters out there. It’s called SpamAssassin and is offered with each and every plan, so if you host your domain names with us, you can choose one of the 5 protection levels that the anti-spam filter offers for any email account that you have here. You can do this with just two clicks from the Email Manager section of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel that is used to manage all hosting accounts. SpamAssassin ‘scans’ the header field and the content of each and every message, calculates a spam score and then continues according to the level that you have selected. Every email account can have a different level and you can choose whether the email messages that the filter flags as spam should be deleted or forwarded to a separate email account where you can check them at a later time, so as to avoid erasing a genuine email message. Changing the level or deactivating the anti-spam protection is also astonishingly easy.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you get a semi-dedicated server package from our company and if you set up one or more email accounts with any of the domains hosted under your account, you will be able to activate the advanced, 5-level SpamAssassin spam filter that we offer and keep all unsolicited messages out of your mailbox. This feature is accessible through the Email Manager section of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel and it can be enabled or disabled for any email account whenever you like. You can also configure the level of security with a couple of clicks of the mouse in case junk email messages still enter your inbox or the spam filter starts erasing genuine emails. Since you can select if the spam should be deleted instantaneously or re-sent to some other email address, you can create email@example.com, for example, and view all filtered emails there, so as to make certain that you won’t omit a message that you need. The email messages that the spam filter allows to go through will still be received in your inbox.
